Founded by six authors (and badass business women), HBIC Nation is a place to learn, share, and grow your creative empire—plus have one heck of a good time while doing it.
As Head Bitches in Charge, we’re reclaiming a word that’s long been used to take away women’s power and demean them. But we know that, in the wise words of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, “bitches get stuff done.” An HBIC dreams big, does the work, and dominates.
We strive to provide a supportive, safe community both online and through in-person events, and know that mentorship and advice can come from people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
In HBIC Nation, writers, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and other creatives are encouraged to discuss their successes and stumbling blocks with peers who are dedicated to their craft.
In this community, ambition is as valuable as planning, education, and self-care because we believe well-rounded individuals set themselves up for long-term success.
HBICs believe in doing the work and then relaxing to enjoy the view. They listen as much as they share. They celebrate successes big and small. Most importantly, they believe in lifting up rather than tearing down.
If you identify as an HBIC, you are welcome here.
